Prior to founding LMG, Lally founded Spectacle Management in 2013. Spectacle Management promotes concerts, theatre, comedy and family entertainment in 13 venues across 5 New England states. He also produced concert engagements for Disney’s Disney In Concert at venues nation-wide. Lally was Director of Marketing and Booking at Lowell Memorial Auditorium from 1999 to 2008, and General Manager of Lowell Auditorium from 2008 to 2013. Lally is Vice-Chair of the Executive Board of the Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau, Co-chair (along with Chris Dick) of the City of Lowell’s Winterfest fundraising committee, and serves on the board of corporators of Lowell General Hospital and The Lowell Five. Since 2005, he has been a professor of music business at UMass Lowell. Lally holds a bachelor of arts in music business and a masters of arts in communication from the University of Miami.
LMG partner John Chemaly is President and Co-founder of Trinity E.M.S., also headquartered in Lowell. Chemaly is actively involved in Trinity’s day-to-day operations and community enrichment. Chemaly serves on numerous local boards and committees throughout the Greater Merrimack Valley, including Chairman of the Board for JDCU, President of the Massachusetts Ambulance Association, Haverhill Chamber of Commerce BOD, Co-Chair Lowell’s City of Lights Parade, Executive Board of the Lowell Plan, Middlesex Community College Foundation, BOD for the Home Health VNA, Lowell Sun – Sun Santa Co-Chair and board member of the Greater Lowell Community Foundation. Chemaly is a graduate of Holy Cross.
LMG partner Chris Dick has been Director of Business Development and Marketing for Trinity EMS since 2007. With deep roots in Greater Lowell, Dick for many years (along side Lally), has been co-chair of Lowell’s Winterfest fundraising committee. He serves on numerous non-profit boards and committees throughout Greater Lowell and Haverhill. Dick has been an active member of the Board of Director for the YMCA of Greater Lowell for the past 14 years and is current Vice Chairman, a committee member for the Boys and Girls Club of Lowell, committee member for the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, committee member for Ste. Jeanne D’Arc School, member of the Tewksbury Redmen Football Club and President of the Raymond E. Riddick Memorial Scholarship Fund. He is a graduate of Tewksbury High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Hospitality Management from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island.
LMG partner and marketing director Dan Berube has worked in the live entertainment business since 2002 when he was hired as a marketing intern at Lowell Memorial Auditorium. After graduating from UMass Lowell with a bachelor of arts in business management, Berube worked in the marketing department at Lowell Memorial Auditorium before accepting a position with the World Curling Association, helping to produce the 2006 Curling World Championships in Lowell. Berube went on to serve as assistant box office manager at Worcester’s DCU Center Arena and Convention Center, before returning to Lowell as marketing director of the Merrimack Repertory Theatre from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, Berube joined Spectacle Management as marketing director, and earned his MBA at Bentley University the same year.
LMG partner and senior talent buyer Andrew Holden is a 2012 graduate of UMass Lowell’s music business program. Holden began his career in the live entertainment business at Lowell’s WUML radio, serving for two years as the station’s general manager. His career in radio continued in the promotions department of North Shore 104.9 before he accepted a position in marketing and public relations at Spectacle Management in 2014. In 2017, Holden began heading up Spectacle Management’s talent buying department.
LMG partner Jack Lally started his career in Lowell in the 1970s in the burgeoning technology industry. He went on to work in financial management and global strategic sourcing in the high tech and financial services industries before joining Spectacle Management as Vice President of Finance and Administration in 2013. Lally taught accounting at UMass Lowell and Northeastern University, and holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Boston College and an MBA from Suffolk University. Lally also served on the Lowell Winterfest committee in the mid-2000’s.
